VOLTIE AC Charger has an award‑winning design that is both sleek and cheerful, created to bring a smile to users every time they plug in. The enclosure is made from brushed stainless steel with a scratch‑resistant plexi front panel, ensuring a robust, elegant look that fits perfectly in modern residential and office environments. The charger and its software platform are developed and manufactured in Hungary by Voltie Kft.

Powerful and flexible AC charging

The VOLTIE hardware supports up to 22 kW on 3 phases (3×32 A) and up to 7.4 kW on a single phase (1×32 A), with adjustable charging current from 6–32 A. Installation can be single‑ or three‑phase, and on 2026‑series units the charger can switch between 1‑ and 3‑phase operation. A fixed Type 2 cable is included (IEC 62196‑2), with standard 5 m and 7 m cable options available and custom lengths on request for maximum parking comfort.

Smart energy management and dynamic power sharing

VOLTIE’s dynamic load management (DLM) distributes power phase by phase across an unlimited number of chargers while taking into account the building’s current energy usage. This intelligent control significantly reduces implementation and operating costs by avoiding over‑dimensioned grid connections and optimizing available capacity. Dedicated solar modes (Green and Eco) allow you to prioritize PV energy with an external meter, and the unique Grid Control feature can operate without a meter, making the system more flexible and cost‑effective.

Safety and reliability built in

User safety is the top priority: VOLTIE chargers ship with a full compliance statement and more than 10 different security features for comprehensive protection. Built‑in 6 mA DC leakage protection means there is no need for an expensive type B RCD, simplifying installation and lowering total system cost. The charger is rated IP54 and IK10, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in demanding conditions, with an operating temperature range from −20 °C to +40 °C.

Smart charging, RFID and mobile app

Charging can start automatically (plug & charge), manually after connecting the cable, or via the mobile application from anywhere in the world with internet access. For multi‑user sites such as apartment blocks and offices, charging can be authenticated with RFID cards or key fobs, with virtually unlimited identifiers that can be named and deactivated when needed. The mobile app is available in 23 languages and, together with continuous monitoring and unique RFID identifiers, makes power sharing and internal settlements straightforward.

Access control makes it possible to restrict a user to a charging time or energy amount per day, week, etc. This feature allows hotels and businesses to keep control without having to manage a payment system.

Remote monitoring, reports and OTA updates

All VOLTIE chargers are remotely monitored and maintained by automated, AI‑based system software. Most issues stem from software configuration or user error and can be resolved remotely, saving both time and service costs. The system performs automatic over‑the‑air firmware updates and generates regular reports on charger usage and RFID activity, eliminating the need for on‑site meter reading and external metering hardware.

User‑friendly display, sound and comfort features

The charger’s front screen can display all key information, including energy delivered, charging power and elapsed time, in multiple languages. A distinctive LED “mouth” clearly indicates charger status (free, charging, completed or error), and a built‑in speaker can provide additional audio feedback. All visual and audio parameters are fully configurable so that informative feedback during the day does not disturb the surroundings at night.

Implementation support and warranty

For large scale environments, Voltie supports the entire implementation process, from cabling design and capacity planning through to monitoring system utilization and adjusting reserved capacity over time. Standard warranty is 3 years and can be extended to 5 years, offering long‑term peace of mind for operators and property owners.
